Jelani Blackman, whose distinctive timbre sets him apart from other up and coming British musicians, first gained attention with his single Twenty//Three back in 2014, but began his fully-fledged climb into the spotlight two years later when he combined his hit track with three more songs to compile his 1-4 EP.

Blackman continued to showcase his lyrical ability as a rapper, his versatility as a vocalist, and his talent as a multi-instrumentalist on his 2016 mixtape, Jelanji, and his follow up EP, 5-8. Since then he's featured in Clash magazine as part of its #NextWave series and played an exclusive gig at Ace Hotel, London, to launch the publication's 107th issue. More recently, Blackman made his first foray into fashion as one of the new faces of Tommy Hilfiger, featuring in a campaign alongside IAMDDB and Paloma Ford to launch the brand’s new collection, in May 2018.
